A  successful prayer life is self-denial

A successful prayer life is self-denial. It is recognition of His Lordship, a giving up of much that is not wrong in itself but that hinders and takes our time.

A prayer life doesn't mean hours in actual prayer, but hours of
study and meditation in The Word until the life  becomes literally absorbed in the Word and the Word becomes a very part of us.

One could spend hours in prayer fruitlessly if the heart is not prepared beforehand.

The preparation of the heart comes from meditation in the Word,
meditation on what we are in Christ, what He  is to us, and what the Holy Spirit can mean to a life that becomes God-inside minded.

Prayer is fellowship with the Father and with
Jesus, a cultivation of a habit of communion. It is learning to take
advantage of our rights in Christ. It is assuming the responsibility that those rights give us.

Prayer privilege means prayer responsibility.

Are you looking for a miracle?,  why not you be a Miracle ?

Are you discouraged? Are you disappointed? , Are you not seeing the miracle and the breakthrough in your life?. You see your friends prospering in every way, your friends who are living a worldly life doing well, while you who loves the Lord, your life has been a struggle for a long period of time, you have come to a stage in your life you don’t know how to continue living faced with real life issues, the sitation you are in is making you to feel very low within yourself.
Let me encourage you, the God who created you will never leave or forsake you, if you are not seeing the miracle you are looking for in your life, don’t give up, I am not advising  you to believe or have more faith in God, or even asking you to memorize bible verses and confess it, which is good any way, but as a human being, examine yourself, there are many people in the world who are struggling in life more than what we are going through. Children are growing up without the love of their mothers, elderly people are living on their own, no one cares about them, they too are crying out for a miracle, can we for a moment stop looking at out self, and try to see the level of pain they are going through, is our pain of disappointment, and discouragement is more than their pain?, if we can honestly answer that question, we will find an answer to our situation.
 

There are many people who are suffering and hurting, their pain, sometimes are more severe than ours, all we have to do is to put our self in their situation, this will give us the answer.

The pain that we go through in life teaches us things that we will never learn in any universities. May God help us to be caring, loving people, always
looking for an opportunity to help someone in distress, even though we
can’t see a way out of our pain, but by being a miracle to someone else at
a human level, gives us great hope, that we were able to meet their needs,
and to see the joy in their faces because of out intervention in their life;
will give us the inner strength to keep us going, our God always shows up at
the right time, be encouraged, your life is in God’s hands, your dreams and
your desires may not come to pass, but your God always shows up on time,
and when you see His hand moving in your life and His presence in your life
restores everything that God wants you to have. I am not asking you to have
faith, only way you can go to the next level in your journey is by trusting God, appreciating Him, not understanding God which is interlectual, but by appreciating Jesus, He came looking for us, He died to set us free, what a
sacrifice, Thank Him for His love and His mercy, His mercies are new every
morning. You will make it, you will enjoy living, and you will see your
miracle, be a miracle to someone else.

A prayer for us

Lord we need your hand to lift us, change us, make us the person whom you delight in, and all your thoughts and plans for us is still in your mind, no matter how far we have failed in fulfilling your plan for our life.
Lord in your divine mercy, there is still hope for us. Lord we pray complete
your plan for us, LORD stand by us we pray, give us the secret of your heart to make our life successful, Lord it is you whom we seek and not any other gods or idols, Lord our hearts burns for your presence amomg us, visit us Lord with your healing power, restore the joy of thy salvation, Lord it is only you are responsible for the success that we can enjoy, we pray this prayer in the name of Jesus.
