Lord's Prayer Day2, 2015 Comment from one of the committed participant , his experience in praying Our Lord's Prayer:
"Together with the choir and congregation I sing the Lord's Prayer (Our Father) every Sunday at the Eucharist. It is a sublime occasion when we all join together to publicly proclaim the words that Jesus taught us. The version at this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dp-4k2PAlc8 is very similar to the version that we sing, but a little faster. When sung a little more slowly contemplating each phrase of the prayer, one can sense the real presence of God and the power and meaning of the words in the prayer. A real blessing!"
Lord's Prayer, please read it, meditate, allow the Holy Spirit to help us, pray the words in the prayer, may God speak to us ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- “This, then, is how you should pray: '
Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.'
For thine is the Kingdom and the power and glory for ever and ever Amen
