Day `74, 15-March-2015, let us continue to meditate and pray the Lord's Prayer today.
Friends, let us continue to pray for the Persecuted Church, there is power in Collective Prayer
"It's the Pentecostal power and only the Pentecostal power
that will get the job done. Pentecost is not for display but the ability
given by The Holy Spirit to reach the world before the return of Jesus."- Cecil Young

God speaks to us through dream!
We want to hear the voice of God, Bible says, faith cometh by hearing, hearing by the word of God. It is so important for us to know God’s word , and remember His promises, so that in difficult time, God’s words can be a great source of help to face our difficult situations, not only that speaking God’s promises over us can make us over comers in Jesus Name. There are many ways we can hear God’s voice, today let us look at how God speaks to us through dreams. Before we go deep into this subject, let us look into what the Bible is saying about dreams. In Genesis chapter 37 God spoke to Joseph in a dream. God spoke to Joseph through two dreams. Joseph learned the hard way that sometimes it’s better not to tell everyone about your dreams, but to wait on God to fulfil the dream in His own time. But at the same if Joseph didn’t tell his dreams to his brothers, there is no Egypt for Joseph. If we feel we have made many mistakes in our life, and we can’t find our way out of the situation we are in, we can take courage in reading how God guided Joseph to a place of becoming the Prime minster of Egypt. In our modern day, Joseph was like a young man moves to the big city, does well there, and ends up working for the wealthiest man in the city. |
How diligent are we in using whatever gifts God has put in our hands? Joseph was a channel of blessings to his family, also to his country. May the Lord speak to us through the life of Joseph to fulfil the dreams God has given to us. In the life and story of Joseph, we see the value of a character... a. Cantered in faith and trust in God b. Devoted to serving God and man with honour and dependability c. Unwilling to be deterred by the hatred, betrayal, and forgetfulness of others d. Willing to forgive the wrongs committed by others e. Able to see the big picture, God's wonderful workings in the affairs of men 2. This noble character can be useful in all the seasons of life... a. As a youth, tempted and tried with no help from family or friend b. As a mature individual, charged with important responsibilities c. As an aged person, knowing that death is imminent http://www.ccel.org/contrib/exec_outlines/text/gen37_1.htm |
