Day `73, 14-March-2015, let us continue to meditate and pray the Lord's Prayer today.
Friends, let us continue to pray for the Persecuted Church, there is power in Collective Prayer
"It's the Pentecostal power and only the Pentecostal power
that will get the job done. Pentecost is not for display but the ability
given by The Holy Spirit to reach the world before the return of Jesus."- Cecil Young

Day `73, 14-March-2015, let us continue to meditate and pray the Lord's Prayer today.
“Same Jesus who healed the Daughter of Abraham, whom satan has kept bound for 18 long years! Can set you free today, reach out to Him, He will answer you” Daniel Diet As children of the most high God, we should experience daily the presence of God, Holy Spirit is eagerly waiting to guide us into the presence of God. At the moment the world is entering into a Godless age; an age where it takes strong courage to be a Christian and to live a Christian life. How many of us can really examined our life, and see if our walk of faith bringing glory to our Saviour and Lord Jesus Christ. Are we in a stage in our life facing disappointments and discouragements, and no matter how hard we tried to keep up our faith, we are not making any progress in our prayers, but the Bible gives a different picture of living a successful Christian life. We read in the Bible the life of Daniel and his three friends; we can learn from Daniel’s experience on how to be an over comer, so that we can make an impact in the world we are living. Remember, God’s word in the Bible declares that, those who know their God shall do exploits! One of the most powerful tool which can help us to live an overcoming life is to cultivate the practise of fasting regularly. If are finding it difficult to totally abstain from fasting, we can practise the habit of abstaining from certain foods for a short time. The Daniel diet, more information about this is found in Daniel 1:12-17. Daniel and his three friends requested permission to eat only vegetables and drink water for ten days and then to compare their appearance with the appearance of the other young men who ate meat, drink wine, and consumed delicates at the King’s table. After ten days Daniel and his three friends looked healthier and better nourished than the youths who were eating the meat and drinking wine. Because they looked so much better the overseer took the meat, wine and the delicacies off the menu and served vegetables only. Not only that, to these four young men God gave knowledge and proficiency in all literature and science, they were ten times brighter than the rest! Let us give some thoughts on the subject of fasting, consider doing the Daniel diet for ten days and experience the same results as Daniel and his friends. Note: you may eat all the vegetables you wish and for very good outcome eat the vegetables 90% raw and 10% The fruit of fasting can be seen in the supernatural events that occurred in the lives of those who fasted in the Old and New Testament. Here some references to fasting recorded in the Bible: Exodus 34:27-28 27 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.” 28 Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments. |
1 Kings 19:8-9 8 So he got up and ate and drank. Strengthened by that food, he traveled fortydays and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God. 9 There he went into a cave and spent the night. Daniel 10:2-7 At that time I, Daniel, mourned for three weeks. 3 I ate no choice food; no meat or wine touched my lips; and I used no lotions at all until the three weeks were over. 4 On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris, 5 I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. 6 His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude. 7 I, Daniel, was the only one who saw the vision; those who were with me did not see it, but such terror overwhelmed them that they fled and hid themselves. Luke 2:37 37 and then was a widow until she was eighty-four.a]" >[a] She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying. Acts 10:10-11 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. Acts 13:1-3 131 Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers:Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. 2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” 3 So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off. 2 Corinthians 11:27 27 I have labored and toiled and have often gone without sleep; I have known hunger and thirst and have often gone without food; I have been cold and naked. Paul wrote in his letters that he was “in fasting often” and we know he had continuous revelation. Let us see some major breakthroughs in things we have been praying for many years. “I pray that as the Body gets revelation of the benefits of fasting it will see manifestations of the plan and purpose of God in individuals and in the corporate life of the church” Ref: Victory Teaching Ministry.
